Using Mango to help recover equipment from staff who have been furloughed or made redundant

The coronavirus pandemic has brought with it many challenges. With the UK having gone into a national lockdown without warning last March, there wasn't time to worry about who held what equipment. Although there have been some slightly more normal days since then, the fact remains that many organisations are still operating with reduced staff numbers (from redundancy) or with staff on furlough.

From a company perspective, this can present a challenge in terms of knowing who's got what equipment and where it is; is it in the office or is it held by staff in their home?

This is can be an issue, not only in terms of the potential cost of replacing lost company assets, but, perhaps more importantly, not having a handle who holds what equipment increases the risk in terms of data privacy and information security.

For Mango clients, this isn't an issue. The Plant and Equipment module makes it easy to link equipment to individual members of staff, which in turn makes it simple if you need to gather things back from team members.

To find out more about how you could make use of Mango in your organisation, book a free demonstration which will be delivered via Zoom.
