Accident Scene Management

Many businesses have come unstuck because of accidents and fatalities in the workplace.  Worryingly, even businesses that have acted properly run the risk of being penalised because they simply can't prove that the accident wasn't their fault.

For this reason we are offering a course to help companies understand how to deal with the problems of Accident Scene Management.  It explains what you can do in the immediate aftermath to preserve crucial evidence, and teaches procedures that could be invaluable further down the line should the police, the HSE and possibly the courts become involved.

Who should attend?

This 1-day course is aimed at those senior managers and company directors who may be called upon to investigate serious workplace accidents regardless of whether they have had any prior training in health & safety management.

By the term “serious” we mean accidents which have resulted in “specified injuries” as defined in the RIDDOR Regulations (2013), or which could otherwise result in the company being prosecuted for a health and safety breach and / or being sued for civil negligence.

Duration and Fees:

The course lasts 1 day and costs  £350 + VAT

Course Certification:

Satisfactory completion of the course will be recognised by the award of a certificate.

We hope you’ll never need this information in real life – but if you do then you’ll thank us!
