Internet of Things (IoT) Security Checklist

Nearly any device connected to the internet can be considered part of the Internet of Things (IoT), from fitness devices worn on the body to network printers in the workplace.

Vulnerabilities in the security settings of any such device can be exploited by hackers who can find company confidential information, block access to systems, demand ransom payments, damage company reputation or even cause life enabling devices to cease operating.

With the number of IoT devices growing and the need to demonstrate compliance to legislation such as the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) you owe it to your organisation to minimise the likelihood of a security breach. We've produced a free Internet of Things (IoT) security checklist to help you do just that.
