Everyone down in Whoville loved compliance a lot…
But the Grinch, who lived just north of the city, did NOT!
He hated compliance as much as he loathed Christmas!
If you want to know why, it’s a funny old business…
Was it that his head wasn’t screwed on right?
Could it be, perhaps, that his shoes were too tight?
No, the reason was the simplest of all,
And NOT that his heart was two sizes too small…
His fear was the reason, not his heart or his shoes,
That he stood there on Christmas Eve hating the Whos.
He stared from, his cave with his Grinchy, sour frown,
Down at the safely lit windows below in the town.
He knew every Who down in the city beneath
Was busily hanging their mistletoe wreath
Knowing their businesses were protected and safe
Without reams of paper and in more than just faith.
In Mango they trusted to keep right side of the law
All the documents needed in the software they saw.
“Tomorrow is Christmas, it’s practically here!”
Shouted the Grinch loudly, with his typical sneer.
“I must stop it from coming! And Mango too!
“I hate change so much. It makes me feel blue…”
The Grinch got a wonderful, awful idea.
“I’ll steal their Christmas and bring it right here.
“I’ll take their laptops and desktops too.
“No Mango for them. What WILL they do?!”
Then up popped a Who girl, all sweet shiny face,
Santa hat on her head, tinsel tied on her waist.
“Don’t fear it, Mr Grinch, I’ll show you how
Mango can help you right here and right now.”
She scanned all his records and got him online
And showed the Grinch how everything was just fine.
“You couldn’t steal Mango, it’s safe in the cloud.
You can access it wherever you are in the crowd!
From your PC at work, your laptop, or phone,
All your documents and details are instantly known.”
The Who girl have him her most dazzling smile
And asked the Grinch to sit down for a while.
“You see, Mr Grinch, that Mango’s like Christmas.
It’s always there at the heart of your business.
“It’s nothing to fear and not all change is bad.
So, Mr Grinch please don’t go on being sad.”
The Grinch felt his heart grow and let out a sigh.
“Oh, why didn’t I do this before? Oh, why?”
