The Jedi Council was about to end when Mace Windu stood up once more.
“We have to ensure all our Jedi properties have annual fire risk assessments, and we have hundreds of properties across the galaxy,” he said.
“There are so many different rules for different premises like offices, shops, and the Jedi temple. I’ll try to meet the deadlines, but I’m worried that we won’t get it all done in time.”
Master Yoda gave him a hard stare.
“Do or do not. There is no try,” Yoda said. “Landlords we are. Get this done we must.”
Windu sighed.
“Yes, Master Yoda, but there are so many documents we need to keep, and we need a competent person to carry out each of the assessments and tell us the risks, identify fire hazards, and record the findings.”
Yoda nodded.
“Need a fire safety consultant, you do,” he said.
Windu nodded in agreement.
“What about the cost, Master?”
Yoda moved towards the door.
“NOT doing this properly Master Windu, what about that cost? What if a fire a hazard causes and injured someone is, perhaps a visitor or a youngling in the temple?”
Windu nodded.
“Money in staff costs we could also save,” Yoda added. “Mango we should use, putting all our assessments and records online we should be. Fewer staff hours spent dealing with papers we shall have.
“Now, to the Dagobah system must I go. Preparations must I make for something far in the future…”
