CHAIN OF CUSTODY

Forest Stewwardship Council (FSC)

The FSC Chain of Custody is an information trail about the pathway taken by products from the forest. It can also include the pathway of recycled materials from the reclamation site to the consumer. This may involve:

  • Processing

  • Transformation

  • Manufacturing

  • Distribution

The FSC Certification ensures that the management system used by your organisation provides assurance to your customers.

This could be through a guarantee that the products sold through FSC Certificate are from well managed forests, controlled sources or reclaimed materials.
