Introduction
This qualification is designed to provide employees with a basic understanding of the principles of health and safety in any workplace environment. The aim of the qualification is to provide a basic knowledge and understanding of the principles of health and safety and how to apply them in the workplace.
This Level 1 qualification is approved by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) and provides trainees with knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of health and safety and their legal and moral responsibilities for their own and other's health and safety. It emphasis the importance of identifying and controlling potential workplace hazards and of creating and maintaining a safe, health, working environment.
Examination
Examination for the Foundation Certification in Health & Safety in the Workplace is by a single multiple-choice question paper (45 minutes).

The Foundation Certificate in Health & Safety in the Workplace is delivered by Jessica Robinson who has 8 years experience in training and is qualified to NEBOSH Level 3.
