European Union (EU) legislation directs that most new machines and other work equipment placed on the marketplace within Europe must meet minimum safety standards and must be CE marked to show compliance with both EU and UK product legislation. This essential one-day seminar explains the statutory requirements of CE certification, the Machinery Directive and how to construct a technical file.
Course Details
The course will be presented in a varied and interesting way and will include:
- Legal overview
- A practical view of the requirements of Machinery Directive (including The Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008)
- CE marking and Product Directives
- Employer's responsibilities
- Risk assessment techniques relevant to CE certification
- The technical file

Fees
The course costs £350 + VAT per delegate and payment is required when booking the course.
