Penarth Management can provide a comprehensive service for companies who require vendor audits to be carried out on their behalf. These 2nd party audits may be to approve a new supplier or to audit an existing supplier.
This audit can be against a particular Standard e.g. ISO9001 or OHSAS18001 or a process audit against a pre-arranged audit agenda. The scope of a supplier audit could include for example their design, manufacturing and test facilities.
An Audit Findings Report will be produced which can be written using either our own standard template or the company's own template which may include an executive summary.
2nd party audits vary in timescales and typically range from 1 to 5 days depending on the scope of the audit.
All our auditors have appropriate auditing qualifications and different industry sector experience.
In summary we can:
- Plan the audit, propose the audit schedule and send out an audit notification to the vendor
- Lead an audit team and conduct the opening and closing meetings
- Carry out a comprehensive audit to customer requirements
- Recommend solutions to the vendor's management team if required
- Complete the Audit Findings Report (and Corrective Action Request if required)
- Carry out a follow up visit (if required) or review the objective evidence presented by the vendor to close down any actions raised.
